Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is something that men of all ages can experience. It's not uncommon for men afflicted with ED to feel ashamed and to consider themselves as less manly. Speak With a Medical Professional
If the problem is beyond your ability to control, please seek out the services of a medical professional. Physical Exercise
One of the most common recommendations doctors have for men with ED is to lose weight (fat, specifically). Merely carrying extra body fat as you approach middle age or later can manifest itself into hormonal imbalances and is often a reflection of declined fitness. Because the penis runs on blood, a decline in cardiovascular fitness will often reflect on erectile abilities.
The lowered hormonal profile of an unfit body will affect emotions and perceptions as well. If you look better, you're likely going to feel better about yourself. Resistance training is excellent for this purpose, and it's great for inducing positive hormonal changes.

Diet

Having ED does NOT diminish you as a man or as a person! While you may feel betrayed by your body, you can do what's in your power to mitigate and even reverse the course of ED!
Even if there are serious underlying issues, your emotional response will have a huge impact on your health and function. What's not in your power to control isn't worth stressing over, so focusing on what you CAN change will set you on the path to maximum potency.
